  1. Just got back, as mentioned I've never seen so many travellers there as this year. Overall the game fair is very poor, alot more stalls have gone, lots of gaps in the field and complete aisles missing, very few freebies, gunmakers row is a joke, only saved by Cheshire gun room and ladds. I said last year I wouldn't go again, but this year definitely made the decision not to bother again.
  2. Over the years I've been bitten three times, once on forearm whilst collecting water from a Brook, and twice on back of calve, The initial bite stings like a wasp sting but wears off after an hour, but it's the massive area of bruising a couple of days later that looks terrible.
  3. I went yesterday, I enjoyed the day but only because I didn't need anything. I did notice that it was significantly smaller this year, and once again alot of the main gun stalls missing.
  4. Very true, had similar problem with a conifer, and they certainly do burn quick. and the beauty of it was conifers Dont grow back.
  5. Had a very lamp shy cub Friday night, luckily he stopped long enough at 250 yards with night vision, the. 223 swiftly took him Total 286
  6. Back of the farm doing some rabbit shooting with. 22lr, as I swung the lamp saw fox at 150 yards, grabbed 223 and perfect head shot. But can't work out if late cub from last year or a big cub from this year. Probably around 75% grown. Tally 280
  7. I use 28 and never seen any blue ones, as mentioned above paint some.
  8. I was listening to the news this morning, feeling very choked about it, why kids?? some as young as 8. It's disgusting how they could do this. Surely how much more must the western world suffer at the hands of these animals. It must be time to shut the borders now, we're full anyway. Let's vet the ones that are here and get rid of the trouble makers. No doubt the liberals and lefties will be making excuses for the bomber soon, how he had a terrible upbringing etc.. Can't get my head around it, why children.
  9. Very good advice, I already follow that and works a treat
  10. Lease hold, been around for years. it can last for upto 999 years. Also known as a pension income for the builder!!!!!. It's supposed to be used for the maintenance of the local amenities ie, play ground, tree and grass cutting.
  11. Very unfair on terriers, I've two English bull terriers, both pets as therapy dogs and never shown any aggression. They have been bitten by other dogs breeds including black labrador, dalmatian, collie and setter.
  12. I had this once, turned out to be a Bleach bottle under the sink that had a pinhole in it and was slowly leaking and affecting other house hold cleaning products. Nearly drove me mad finding the smell. Might be worth emptying some cupboards

  14. Sounds like it could be the ecu (brain) playing, getting the cycles mixed up. Probably time for new machine, especially if over a few years old Sounds like it could be the ecu (brain) playing, getting the cycles mixed up. Probably time for new machine, especially if over a few years old
  15. One young dog fox last night, which was hanging around with another young fox. Quick squeak to get their attention and .223 quickly dispatched, hopefully come across the other one soon Total 169
  16. Thanks chaps. She seems so normal to look at, apparently the heart medication perks them up, but the thought that she won't be here next year is heart breaking, she's the most loyal and kind dog I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. I'm not ashamed to say I've been balling my eyes out most of this evening.
  17. Just wanted to write it on here as it's too upsetting to talk in person, just wondering if anyone else had any advice or idea of life expectancy. My terrier who is nearly 11, has had a very slight heart murmur all her life (grade 1) in the last few months it now progressed to a grade 4. She's had x rays which shows the heart has enlarged, so she's now on heart medication. Just found out today that only 30% of her kidneys are functioning due to poor blood supply from the inefficient heart. Gutted is an understatement. I prefer the dog to the wife! Has anyone else had any similar experience. Just hope she keeps going as long as she can.
  18. I thought it was preservation order numbers, given to the tree.

    vauxhall

The value of vauxhalls are going to plummet, build quality won't improve with the Peugeot influence. Yet another manufacturer leaving British shores
  20. I work outside alot, and notice the met office app is useless, changes its mind constantly, and inaccurate. Even this morning in North Wales it said light rain showers, yet we had 3" of snow!!!! All on www.wrexham.com
  21. Plus one, where I go (Shropshire, North Wales border) he's been very busy with them
  22. Check the warranty offers. I think Worcester are 7 years at moment. If installed by approved plumber.
  23. I have heard that Europe wants to fit the black telematics box to every new car. Which will constantly up various authorities and insurance exactly what your doing, where, when, weather, speed, g forces. It'll be the death of the sports car.
