On september the 8th at http://www.yorkgategunclub.co.uk/otleywe are holding our annual "Pink charity" event to finish off the years fund raising for brest cancer.

Its the standard "win some cash for the most clays broken 30 bird sporting, have a homemade cake before you go round again, bit of a pool shoot with a 410 thats always a bit tricky, get a few raffle tickets for some exciting prizes from club members type of thing.Monies raised are donated to http://www.pinkevents.org.uk/.

Some members of the staff have family affected by this illness so we try to do our bit.

Any how this time around i am going to attempt to break the World record for the fastest 25 clays broken

Marcus at express cartridge has donated the shells for the attempt and some for the raffle with barely any pushing, thanks to express for that.Rob Hall is helping out with clays for the day and several members have been persauded to be gun handlers, loaders, timekeepers, button men, adjudicaters etc.

Practise has begun and has not been easy,as co-ordinating the passing of the guns is not as simple as the frenchies made it look but its looking do able.

Pet easton and Nicky T have been able to give it some column inches for us,thanks to them.

If any one can come and support the day it would be ideal(please leave the pots for the club members)

As an alternative want to donate a prize or a couple of quid, all would be gratefully recieved.

Even if its just a bump on this thread

I love boobs and they are living proof men can multi task

i used to go mate when i first started out 5 years ago, but not being big headed or anything but due to lack of space it got to easy so went to kellbrook and coniston, not been to bobs for 3 years but keep meaning to pop back up as im only in burley so if nothing its handy, think i will pop up for the cancer do though as its a good cause.

cheers, Lee

I dont know, ill look into to it,it was my idea and i have been busy with practice and organising the sponsers

Shall we have an informal bet on the record breaking time,1min 11 is an epic fail and 50 seconds is the theoretical best(trap cycles every 2 secs)I will personally match the donation of the winner or winners who guess nearest to the time achieved.

I think 64.5 seconds on the day £5 pledged

i'll put a £5 on 63.2 seconds :good: i am home on leave so might come out for a drive will there be shooting as normal?

So you think i will miss 6 clays then.

Thanks for that.Shooting is on as normal with cash for high gun etc,i have not troubled that particular prize in the last 3 years  My Missus is busting for the ladies trophy after Sue Tyas swooped it last year.

You will be most welcome
