The Essex Hunter
A few members have asked what the pigeons are feeding on. The first picture shows why pigeons are so successful…. Rape, Wheat and a few small snail shells in one crop from today. The others show how greedy they are, I have loaded the other pictures to my photo bucket so not too loose the detail. http://s856.photobucket.com/albums/ab130/TheEssexHunter/Hungry%20Pigeons/?action=view¤t=Fulltothebrim005.jpg TEH

I shot 21 today on a shower affected afternoon on rape stubble and only five pigeons had any rape in them. None of the remainder had full crops but they mostly contained barley from a nearby stubble and clover from who knows where.
