-Mongrel-
Yes thanks for that Mong. You could have a small tank outside with a float switch and submersible pump. That's what I have on my yacht, that also pumps water up hill.Got the idea from a few houses that have it around my area and if Gram wants me to get me the correct plans for it he has my phone number I am just throwing in some ideas. Although like already said it's tough getting a ibc up the stairs haha. Try adding a little humour into your next belittling post as it shows intelligence rather then coming across as a internet terd. Terd (*u**), nerd or tard? I'm unsure what you mean? Oh right, so now we've gone from a pipe from the gutter to a tank and pump...which I have already suggested along with several others. You're approaching Walt-esque levels now! Not only did you post a load of rubbish that would never have worked, but once found out you then resort to childish name calling and you have the temerity to question my intelligence levels, how ironic! harrycatcat1
I have just thought, if you are a little embarrassed about doing it in the outside drain take a bucket to a quiet place down the garden.

-Mongrel-
chap, thanks for the advice in your original post but please keep the bitching either to yourself or by pm, she only posted up an idea, quit picking on her. With all due respect, I questioned the validity of the ill conceived suggestion, the bitching was incoming. I assume she's a friend hence your gallantry, very noble. I'll say no more. Ratman2
I have just thought, if you are a little embarrassed about doing it in the outside drain take a bucket to a quiet place down the garden. Then chuck it on the compost heap, works a treat.
Ratman2
Here's a thought for you, next time you have a drink of tea, coffee, beer etc, just think to yourself how many times has the water in your drink been flushed down the loo, how many times has it been passed as urine, how many times has it been bath water etc. It's a chilling thought

jacksdad
Just have a dump on the compost heap  Should be nice and warm if its working properly, bonus! I used to work with a real miser, must have been a Yorkshireman he was that tight: he took a flask of tea to work, then at home time he'd fill it again from the works canteen, said it lasted till the next morning! probably saved more energy/water doing that than any grey water system can ever do

I assume she's a friend hence your gallantry, very noble. I'll say no more. Well it was not really that ill conceived as you make out maybe a little vague as stated by Al4x its not worth doing and not really worth any more time into it but for your benefit this is what I have in the boat powered off a solar panel. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/12V-350-GPH-Water-BILGE-PUMP-AUTO-FLOAT-SWITCH-Submersible-Yacht-Boat-Marine-/400311372753?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_BoatEquipment_Accessories_SM&hash=item5d346acbd1#ht_1052wt_1111 As for the smoking bearings, water running up hill! Do you think I can't reverse a car either as it says female on my profile? As for the reply to GRAM shows you as a male chauvinist when he was just trying to stop you making a fool of yourself. As already said if you have a problem with me keep it to PM's as I am as tired as everyone else seeing posts like yours when its just a forum for everyone to enjoy.
