took my nephew to Crabtrees clay ground today for his first attempt at the sport he loved it and considering he was using my beretta silver pigeon he hit quit a few of the clays and the 21g carts didnt thump him too much once i had let him sample a 28g load :whistling:

i bought my lad a Baikal single barrel from Malmos, and had the stock chopped as he's only 7. bought a new one just over 200 inc the work on the stock. with 14 g carts barely nudged him or made much of a sound. still whacked the clays on the coaching traps at Back Lane

Nice one Barraboy, you cant beat getting out with your lad .Me and my lad have been shooting together since he was about 10 thats 9 years ago, teaching him the basics of gun safety and handling as well as field craft, general shooting ettiquete , we still love going out, whether its air rifle hunting ,target shooting ,clays or game shooting .

I cant honestly think of anything i'd rather be doing.

Enjoy every minute of it mate your in for a fantastic time over the coming years.passing on your knowledge to a keen young 'un.
