Scully
Mmmm, didn't enjoy that! A bloke who lives just around the corner from me,and was a member of the same pistol club as me,was left an Artillery Luger by his father, brought back from the second world war.As he wanted to be legit' he took it to a dealer who put it on his ticket.....three months before Dunblane. It was destroyed along with all his other handguns. I remember handing mine in at Hunter Lane police station in Penrith(minus grips and anything else I could remove and claim compensation for)where the duty cop admired all my classic and vintage handguns, agreed with me that it wouldn't make a **** of difference(how true)took their serial numbers, then dumped them all in a cardboard box. On the above video, someone mentioned joining the biggest organisation possible, but our biggest organisation told us all to keep a low profile.Am I bitter.....no,of course not. BlaserF3
Yes I remember the low profile option too, as I handed my pistols in. It didn't work
Robin128
Are we allowed to tell the truth about our NRA on here? I do admire the USA NRA. BASC really care for us here...and a few others!

Scully
Always easier to blame someone else. Yes,I suppose it is,but the blame for the handgun ban lies squarely with us,the shooters. We sat back and did nothing, and not only did our biggest shooting organisation sit back and do nothing, they actively advised shooters to do the same! I joined the only organisation which was willing to put up a fight in the face of overwhelming odds; formed as a direct result of the major and established shooting organisations apathy;the SRA.(I still have the cloth badge somewhere;the smartest badge any shooting organisation has produced yet!)There was a good fight organised by,among others,***********,whose 'Anything but Mellor' campaign saw the politician resoundingly embarrassed and ridiculed. Now I know M.*********** has been ridiculed on this forum before, and you can say anything you like about him,but at least the man isn't afraid to get up off his **** and fight for what he believes in.Unlike the vast majority of us it's sad to say. Scully
Seems like even his name is a dirty word on this forum!
