Tiger955i
Hi all. I have had to make a repair to the body mounting points at the bottom of the rear seat box on my 110 station wagon . In order to make this repair I have removed the second row of forward facing, seats, and the floor in fromt of the second row of seats. My question is when I bolt the floor section back in what product would be best to seal it with? I have a tin of Grey Stripe seam sealer and a couple of rolls, automotive, of double sided foam tape. the original floor seems to have been sealed with a tape of some sort. Have any of you removed this section of floor and if so what did you seal it with? I think I may have answered my own question as I know the grey Stripe would be best but once it is down and cured there will be no removing the floor again without ruining it. Any suggestions and comments welcome. ATB Jamie

86inch
I'd suggest using the type of mastic sealant that comes on a roll, you can get it from Caravan spares suppliers. As to the water, i wouldn't worry about it - the carpets will soak it up

Yes Jimmy, when I said I was sealing the floor the girlfriend hoped I was biulding her a mobile paddling pool :-) 86inch, thank you. I know the type of product you mean and will give it a go. bobt
If you put tape over one side of the panel, until the sealant has gone off, then remove tape and refit, it still seals but you can lift the panel, do you expect to lift it often? Paul223
Tigerseal. No mate a pu adhesive sealer like tiger seal would perminantly fix it in place one sided low density foam tape
