Stuart1985
Evening all Well am over the moon having gained a few permissions for air rifle and shotgun shooting. plus managed to get into two syndicates for this year. any way was out on thursday to get the tour of one of the permissions which is a poultry farm so pop along this morning to see what was about. seen a lot of crows and pigeons will be hitting them hard (hopefully) LOL Was just walking up the sheds walkways seen a rabbit well its white rump poping around of the end of one of the sheds, got to the end had a wee peek, was about 30 yards so used the side of the shed a rest and the pellet hit its eye and out the other side. the rabbit was stone dead hardly a kick went out after having a scan about to see if any more were about, popped her into the bag. on my walk back to the gate entrance this feral landed on a tree, took it about 35 yards heart shot. then my fun ended got a call from my on call manager :( sent to a job :(

Stuart1985
Pleased dont give me a hard time over wording, I know my target speiecs, I call any pigeon that's not a woodie a feral. fenboy
Its not about giving you a hard time , its about educating , if you shoot a dove call it a dove , doves are not pigeons , for all I and anyone else who looks at you post knows you dont know what your shooting and if that were true and you put say a picture of a stock dove up calling it a feral and the wrong type of person is trawling the site you could end up in serious trouble . -Mongrel-
Ain't Google a wonderful thing. You shot a dove and thought it was a feral. Man up, admit it and sort out your quarry identification...in my opinion. Edited August 18, 2012 by -Mongrel-
Stuart1985
IT IS A FERAL, its not a proper dove nor is it a woodie. and please dont give me this rubbish about google mate, just a small think and its jumped on like i have shot a swan and called it a pigeon. fenboy
Mate its no good getting the hump , you put the pic up that clearly shows a collard dove to anyone but stevie wonder and first you say you just called a dove a feral and now you insist it is a feral, I may not work in pest control but I would guess I have shot in excess of 1000 collard doves and that is one. Ant8681
I have seen people on youtube from europe that make pest control vids and they call collared doves ferrals. Anyway nice bunny and happy shooting!
