rainman_l Posted August 21, 2012 Report Share Posted August 21, 2012 Watch them as the pattern grows to see how they react. See what works for you. Theres no wrong or right. I leave them out till I have twenty or so in the pattern then retrieve the decoys and pick up any additions. I have found that sometimes too large a pattern puts them off, even when theres plenty of space to join. Some times however you need a large pattern to decoy them better.
