Not that I'm spitting ma dummy oot, but!

Think you will find H d,

I did mention I had looked at the forums allready.

I concede the point ref the size of wire/rod used as it is clearly stated in the relevant post,

but still doesnt say what type of rod used, mild steel, treated springy steel, is there even such a thing?

Does it matter what type, who knows, I don't thats why I asked!!

Just thought if it was to soft it would tend to bend too much, does it?

Or does the softer stuff impart more movement giving a more natural look, I haven't used floaters before so again I don't know.

Also still dont know where to source the stuff......or how much it comes in at, is it worth the hassle? does it work out that much cheaper in the end?

I realise some questions keep cropping up again and again but aint that what keeps the forums alive?

Surely newly joined members should feel at ease to ask for help and info or am I missing something. :good:

Apologise if this reply comes over as a tad abrasive, it isn't intended that way just wanted to get my point accross and that I saw you're post as a bit of a cheap shot.

Anybody recommend what thickness or type of metal to use to construct some home made floaters?

Also where you can buy the stuff!!

Had a look at some on the forum that have been made allready and am feeling all inspired to have a crack myself.

Thanks.

6mm spring steel is adequate for floaters/bouncers
