miniross
Hi all after my last outing when I pack up my gear I noticed on of the folding wing spreaders on my bouncer was broken where it folds up its sort of a plastic encased spring. As a result it dosnt hold in place any longer was wondering of you can but just a new wing spreader or is it gonna have to be a new bouncer ? Cheers in advance Mark
Cosd
You can buy wing spreaders separately http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2-x-WING-SPREADER-PIGEON-BOUNCER-FLOATER-DECOY-CLIP-/190548611844?pt=UK_SportingGoods_Hunting_ShootingSports_ET&hash=item2c5d951304&_uhb=1#ht_2287wt_914
woodpigeon100
Yorkshire answer for you - If you cut a wire coat hanger halfway along the bottom bit and bend out to form a Y and then coil the ends about one and a half inch diameter three times to form like a spring, straighten the hook. Tape what was the hook 6 to 8 inch down the bouncer (or magnet arm). Mount the pigeon on the rod and push the wings into the coils. It.s a bit fiddly but once you have the gaps in the coil set right it will grip the wing in a gale. Just bend them to suit and they fold in at the end of the day. steve_b_wales
Contact mayfly36 on here. He makes excellent ones. I've bought many off him for my home made floaters.
