  1. I take 100ml water in pop bottle and shaving brush - mix a bit of mud to cream and paint whirly ever time I use it.Takes 30 seconds and is totaly matt.
  2. Hi Guys Neo Pro neoprene decoys from A1 decoys - Anyone tried these yet?
  3. I use two 10ah lithiums approx £32 from HongKong / China - weigh less than a kilo and last 12hours plus.. They take a long time to charge so you need to be sharp with the charging. I also use a single 10ah to power three peckers and a flapper does about 20 hours between charges.
  4. Hi I have used flappers from shootwarehouse for years with varying success - are turbo flappers that much better to make it worth buying new? Any advice appreciated Mike PS Lithium batteries from China still powering Magnet and peckers after 18 months of 3 or 4 days a week use.
  5. Have you considered a Dacia Duster. Roomy and under 10g new.
  6. Hi Looks to have a lot of potential on drillings and short stubbles- any chance of a video of the thing on a table top with no decoys. What car did you you get the motor off - they vary a lot. Regards Mike
  7. Rather than using rubber/ plasic tubing if you cut 20mm discs from a 4 pint milk bottle and make a small hole in them you can secure the wings well, they are only single use but free and you can carry dozens. Also works for magnets on windy days.
  8. Used a set of shootwarehouse poles for donkeys years - not the cheapest but you can boot them into any ground summer or winter and still as good as new.
  9. I've had occaisions when similar has happened - it always turned out to be a fractured cable. If it happens to be laid with a connection it works if not it doesnt.. Might be worth 6 foot of cable if it happens again.
  10. No import duty What power lamps are you guys using with them? I'm using LED's at the mo but would prefer to go back to the halogen if possible.
  11. Where are you going in Poland. Krakow is mint and I have the mobile of a great taxi bloke - much cheaper than bus trips and you get door to door service. Beer £1 Fags £1 Women £15 Beautiful women £20 - if they had any pigeons I'd move
  12. Hi Again!!! Photo attached The two leads near the switches are for charging (one charger comes free with each battery) The two green and black adaptors shown on their own are taped together and plugged into the power out leads from the batterry as shown above. Look carefully at the ends of the attached adaptors and you will see the red and green/yellow insulation on the jumpers that connect the batteries in parrallel. The crocs on the magnet clip onto the exposed bit of the jumpers. If you only expose a little copper on each jumper a short cannot occur I hope I've saved someone some heavy lugging of kit Regards
  13. HI I tape the two batteries together trapping the charging leads so they dont flap about then tape two female adaptors together and plug in the power out leads from the batteries then wire the adaptors together in parrallel and use croc clips to feed the speed control / magnet. I've tried to attach a photo but the file is 'too big' - will get my computer whizz son to help later, I know thers a way of downsizing the files without losing too much quality. I reality it's easy to do just hard to explain without pictures . Someone said about buying one for £14 - once the magnet is rotating it is possible to disconnect one battery and run it on one but you have to turn up the speed control to maintain the correct revs. It seemed to me to be 'struggling' (and would only last half as long) so opted to use two. I know lithiums are supposed to stand deep discharge better than lead acid but seems sense to stress them less. Photos will follow I promise.
  14. Not very good on computers but I've copied the item from flea bay New Design DC 12V Portable 9800mAh Li-ion Super Rechargeable Battery Pack Hope this helps
  15. Hi All Just an update to a previous post - I have been using two 10ah lithiums from China to power my magnet since August and they are still going strong - good for at least 12 hours per charge. I notice they have just dropped the price to £28 a pair inc postage. I forgot to charge the lithiums last week and had to take a 14ah lead acid and it nearly killed me. Regards to all
