alexf
Another clothing question the rivers west Jarrett jacket is it fleece lined or just like a waterproof lining?
station
If it's their wildfowl jarrett jacket then it is their APF fabric which like the rest of their range has no seperate lining. It's not like their fleece material, but thinner and not so supple in my opinion. You're not far from Tony's Camo near Chester they stock alot of the Rivers West range - they might not have the exact jacket, but they do have the RW pak-lite which is the same material. This way you can at least feel and try something made of the same material before buying. I have several bits of RW clothing and highly recommend it. grahamch
I got the jacket last season and impressed, the only fault is the lack of a security pocket.
mudpatten
I know three people who have purchased Rivers West jackets of one type or another. Sadly, all have had problems with the zip which is very flimsy for such an expensive product.
Albert 888
I have one and use it which is the jarrett jacket, not very good, the rivers WET jackets leak in fit poor and have a horrible zip. But they have excellent aftersales.
xav
I have one and use it which is the jarrett jacket, not very good, the rivers WET jackets leak in fit poor and have a horrible zip. But they have excellent aftersales. I had the same problem (with the Eider jacket) , the zip broke and they gave me a new jacket, no question asked (they probably only know too well about the fault). How long the new one will last is anybody's guess. I wish they spent more money on R&D and less on marketing. The ultimate wildfowling jacket ? No for me, unless you never venture on the foreshore
silver pigeon 3
I have the Eider and yes it does have a few fauts, the zip being 1! But i tried on quite a few jackets before making my decision and probably wouldn't change it for any other! I have had mine for 3 years now and it has had a fair bit of use in the wind and rain, and has never leaked!
station
Only have 2 of their lighter weight jackets - Cascade and Frontier. Never had any issues with zips and never, not once, ever got wet.
