Annand90
Getting a chance to shoot over some freshly harvested peas tomorrow, has anyone had good bag off of it even with barley stubble around? Cheers
JDog
Pigeons have ignored all of my pea fields this year apart from just after they were drilled. The fields were harvested three weeks ago and there has barely been a bird on them. I hope that you have a different experience.

Seamus
I have a large pea field next to my house (with Barley stubble nearby) which was harvested about two weeks ago; even after being disked there are still peas on the surface and plenty of pigeons about. pete1dart
Had 42 on ours when drilled then nothing big for months until they were cut. Had my pb on bank holiday Monday (88) old man had 57 on other side of field on same day. They normally hit them after a bit of rain has soffened them up. Birds still hitting them hard now but now partridge are out we dont shoot pigeon until feb now!
Annand90
Thanks guys! No luck today, there were some coming in but they were a bit close to a pheasant pen so I didn't want to set up there. I will have to try on some drillings next year!
