SakoQuad
How long are you waiting for a 1 to 1 variation, mine will be 7 weeks on monday bornfree Depends entirely on where you live, anything from 4 weeks to well over 4 months is routine with even longer in quite a few areas. None of us really know why the differences, whether its because of the systems used, the efficiency of the different Dept's or the number of staff employed in different Dept's. though many of us our own theories about our own FA Sections! bullet1747
I would have had mine back in 5 days ,they rang to say they cant do anything else with out my licence ,I'd reading posts saying don't send it with your forms as it takes a few months ,moral to the story don't do as people say do as you want ,I was planning on a few months turn round so I could save up two weeks and nowt saved not complaining at least I have it
deputy dog
Iv just sent variation off for .22lr and FAC air rifle and have been quoted a 3 to 4 month wait. Lucky enough i got enough ammo here to keep me going for a while. Thought it will give me time to save for the FAC air rifle as their not cheap even for a second hand one. Though i have struck a great deal with my mate, he's selling his mint condition Sako Finnfire to me for 350quid all in and im delighted with the deal as this gun his like new and has seen hardly any action in the last 4yrs bar for a few shots here and there. Wish the turn around time wasn't so long to get my ticket back, but i suppose patients is whats needed if you cant change anything to speed up the proccess.
