sitsinhedges
Thinking of having an early foray after the pigeons, anyone know if the pigeons are waking up hungry? I tried a few weeks ago but nothing seemed to be happening then or maybe I just wasn't early enough and missed the first feed. Thoughts? The Essex Hunter
Thinking of having an early foray after the pigeons, anyone know if the pigeons are waking up hungry? I tried a few weeks ago but nothing seemed to be happening then or maybe I just wasn't early enough and missed the first feed. Thoughts? I was out at 5.30 this morning and by 6.30 the pigeons were flighting in to a stubble field. Plenty of pigeons, however no Fallow buck…… Just make sure you don’t set up with the wind down the flight line as that will cut it off your shooting quite quickly. sitsinhedges
Well the answer was yes. Got set up for 7am and they came in nicely and slowly fizzled out so I packed up at 10am with 17birds. Well worth the effort and the moderated 20gauge did me proud
