ScottCromwell2
mine sort of touches wood at one side, is it a hard job to remove the action from the stock?
12borejimbo
2 screws underneath, one behind the trigger guard, and the other infront of the magazine housing, take this off, there is a small metal grommett that will need to be put back in place with a dovetail fitment, you will figure it out when you take the rifle to bits. Dekers
Are the barrels of a CZ452 American free floating or not? Cheers If we accept the American as the normal (not Varmint) barrel and wood stock then there is more than a suggestion it should be. My .22WMR wasn't, but 2 screws removes the stock, and in my case I simply shimmed out the wooden cut our near the receiver with more wood. Seems they had overdone it, this raised the whole barrel back where it should. Took all of 30 seconds after I saw the problem. NO sanding or finishing required. Perfect floating barrel. Frankly it hasn't made any difference to performance that I can see, but perhaps mine wasn't that bad to start with!
