Olliesims
No nothing sticks out apart from the ejectors I remember him telling me it was a Winchester mark 2 or something but when searching google I've never found anything The proof marks are the normal birmingham proof house marks
Harnser
Looks very much like a winchester 101 action to me .If it is in fact a winchester action ,and I think parker hale did use this action ,then you have a very nice gun . Gordon R
It is a Winchester 101 Grand European made in Japan - badged up as a Parker Hale. It will be either an 801,802,803 or 804. It looks like an 801 - 27" barrels - choked 1/4 and 3/4 - to me. Very fine gun - had one myself many years ago - foolishly sold it. RossEM
I've just bought one of these, almost new condition. It has slightly different engraving and a black trigger instead of gold. Seems to be a cracking gun for what I paid for it. Giving it a test run on Saturday!
