What a damn good idea. Please do post the address as its own topic for future reference. I've lost count of the number of Sporting Rifles that have gone in the recycling bin. scouser
same here, i.ve lots of goodys to send to the lads & lasses out there. but don,t have an address.
Muggins.
I`ll keep you informed lads. Parcels can include .. Packs of wetwipes. Jelly type sweets. Satchets of soup, coffee, drinking chocolate. Satchets of brown/red sauce, salad cream, tartare sauce, vinegar. Magazines, (strictly, no porn) Even days old newspapers make a big difference to a long day out there. Basically, think of things which don`t ruin in the Afghan heat (Jelly sweets, powdered drinks) things that will make a difference to bog standard ration meal (satchets of sauces) no showers on patrol in the desert (wetwipes) Anything you can send makes a huge difference and as i said before, a parcel weighing 2 kilos or less is free to send (or make 2 parcels). Take it to the PO, they will ask you what`s in it and they`ll write it on the label and it`s job done. Edited October 27, 2012 by Muggins.
