keeperdan
I am thinking of getting a 22-250 rifle for foxing.. But I would like to use it for deer control as well,, which species could I shoot with this rifle.. All I have around me is muntjac and roe. Jimmer
Your probably better off getting a .243 which has a wider range of bullet weight, which would suit deer better.
Olliesims
I think I'm not to sure cwd and muntjac, as the post says above get a .
keeperdan
Yeah that's my other option. Iam looking at the savage rifles that Edgar brothers import as they seam to be getting good write ups and are reasonably priced

You can't legally shoot Roe or bigger deer in England and Wales, but you can use it on Roe in Scotland. Muntjac/CWD with conditions is what you can shoot. If you are considering Roe then consider a .243!
jamie g
Yes if you got roe to shoot 243 is the only way to go. Bloody stupid we can't shoot roe here with 22 cf ! But they can in scotland
bullet boy
I use a .22-250 primarily on Fox and found this to be a superb calibre but i agree with the gents above go for a .243 if wanting to use for Deer as well as Fox!
