Big Al
I am looking for a decent continental (meaning cheaper!) game cartridge 32g 6. My local rfd only stocks GB at £49 per 250. Has anyone used this cartridgel? What do you think? Are there any similar priced cartridges which would be a better option? I used to use Clever Mirage and loved them but I find them harder to get now. Thanks Edited October 29, 2012 by Big Al
seeker
seem to recall that GB are from Maxam who also own Rio, Saga, & Eley . So reasonable company. Haven't used GBs for a while but they did the job.

seeker
Haven't seen the Winchester GBs in a long while .. used to do a cracking 1oz load. Can't remember if they were made at the, then, Winchester plant in Italy? But as you say the Maxam GBs are from Spain.
Big Al
Totally off topic, but can you still get Winchester Western or Superspeeds? In boxes of 10 if I remember. They were my cartridge of choice 10 or so years ago but I havent seen them for a long while.

Was it a W-W in a green paper case, fibre wad with a paper wrapper for the shot in 10s? also and excellent game load in a webley 700 .. I guess the ww range is on the high price shelf now ?
