Lancs Lad
All, so, I have chose the gun, cert in process........... What load - cartridge should I be looking at. Seems a massive choice out there. Went for the 28 inch Lanber sporting delux. Shooting pigeons and crows. Will also be shooting clays for a bit to "get my eye in". Any suggestions appreciated. dazzyboi
I dont know if it differs from gun to gun but i used to use Gamebore Clear pigeons (shot 6) in my old sidebyside, and i loved them. They never let me down, i didnt test a great selection of different make carts though, but i liked the clears...
Gordon R
Use anything but D and J - felt wads. Dirtiest cartridge I have ever used, including 5000 Baikal - 20 years ago. I phoned a gun shop last week and they insisted D and J are made by Express - which they are not. They are marketed by Express and made by Rio. They are cheap - I now know why. Plastic wad shells seem very good.
henry d
Clear pigeon 30gm 6`s do it for me,fibre wads of course.
wickedandlazee
steer clear of D&J full stop - no good in my lanber. For shooting crows, pigeons etc i sue lyalvale express super game No6 32g - no problems. For clays i use eley first 7.5s 28g - some on here don't like them but i have had no issues with em.
