chady
Hi just bought a graco adjustable butt pad plate. Now the original but pad dose not fit the screw holes on the plate (Winchester select). So looks like I have got to get a new butt pad. Now I was looking at the iris green pad? What do you think a bought them? Or any other recommendations? Now I see they do two concave or convex!! Now I understand the difference but not sure Which one!! So which would you chose and why?? And do they have set holes or do you drill them yourself to bolt it to the gun?? Thanks Jamie
P~MX
Isis pads are the best pad money can buy, you can get them in many different thickness's in either left or right hand options, get them from David Izzard direct --- google Isis pad and watch the video about them, I've a green Isis pad on each of my 6 guns
Gordon R
Concave fits your shoulder better. They would not normally have the holes pre-drilled. You could make holes in the recoil pad to accommodate the allen keys - to adjust the pad up and down - and glue the pad on after. Personally - I would screw the mechanism out until you got it the correct length and decide if you want to slide the butt plate up and down. If not just shape the pad to the mechanism and glue it on. chady
Thanks good ideation about drilling holes to allow moving the pad up and down. What glue would you use? Contact adheaseve? Jamie
welshwarrior
The 3 iris pads I have bought had pre drilled holes but I'm sure they would do you one with out. They made me one with a thinner base for a curved butt. Great pads I would not go back to kick eez

Gordon R
I have glued two. Used superglue on first and epoxy on second.
