Predictable Mr fox

We have had a few about recently on our little syndicate that have been tricky to get hold of, so with a spate of ***** visits going on the trail cams have been out. This one is on a farm track leading up to a main wood and as you can see its a nice route in the clock is an hour out but it was seen at 18:01 and 18:10 two nights on the trot. So I set up as close as possible to where the camera had been not an ideal site but the only option due to houses, just picked the eyes up at about 300 yards with NV coming up the hill to me and had an agonising wait while it went out of sight and got to the top of the hill a longer wait than I was expecting as suddenly a foxes backside appeared in the scope at 40 yards, quick whistle and it turned enough for it not to be a true texas heart shot. .243 75grn vmax this is definitely its pretty side! and all done by 18:15 so a half hour sit was all it took having been chasing it weeks

and we also have this about I've not seen him in daylight but apparently the antler looks broken but to me it looks like it may be malformed from an injury but guess time will tell if I actually get to see him in daylight.

very well, watched this one in from a good 300 plus yards, ok I wouldn't have shot it at that range but its good to 200 plus and you can wind the magnification right up and still see well. Bearing in mind its on one of the less recommended scopes it works really well
