Pedretti 410 hushpower mod cleaning

Has any one had the baffles or done a strip down there self there seam there is 8 pop rivets on the mod holding the mod and barrel to together been told these been cleaning time to time as they can get bunged up with paper and wad can it be done myself or is it a job for the gun smith ?

I've never cleaned mine since I bought it in the eighties. Seems better for it.

dunno about the 410, on a 20 bore its undo a grub screw near stock end and twist like hell lol, a rubber oil filer wrench helps..... to clean the baffles on mine it unscrew the end piece which i havnt managed to do yet grrrrrrrrrrr

don't know where you get your info, but their was definatly NO POP RIVETS on my pedretti 410

either get a set of mole grips on the very end of barrel, you'll see the join, you have around 5mm to hold, unscrew the little brass end sight if you have it, then unscrew end cap, put something in between molegrips teeth or you'll carve up the metal

 

inside that is around 10 washers and spacers that act as the baffles, bloody hard to get out, and I would not advise doing it,
