Fowling Trolley

Ady1975 has been talking about using a wheelbarrow for getting all his fowling clobber out on the marsh.

When I hit the big 70 I decided that if I didn't come up with some solution to the load-carrying problem then my fowling days were over.

Discussing the problem with a mate, as we crossed a ploughed field on a pheasant shoot at Pavman's, Charlie said he had a fishing trolley at home that he no longer used and I could have if I wanted it.

It arrived - I modified it a bit - Then, after a couple of trial runs, modified it a bit more and this is the result.

Light, folds up for vehicle stowage, good on/in mud, stable, could be modified to float.

Can pull it anywhere with one hand or clip to belt for hands-free.

Load shown is rucksack, 20 silosox decoys, 5 hide-poles in case, net, shooting-stick and gun.

On the way back I secure the decoy bag on the top and stuff the bergen full of the geese and ducks!

This is my third year of use and it does the job very well.

A deer extraction trolley is similar.
