+1 for the Ford Ranger. I have an XLT double cab and it gets used for everything from lamping to trips to Mole Valley, days out and the supermarket. Great truck, good on carrying, comfy, drives like a car, good all round view, not so bad on fuel either (cough cough).

If you have endless amounts of time and money you can't go wrong with a Series Land Rover, I have had a few, brilliant workhorses, I have a 1960 SWB ragtop in the barn waiting some tlc, that was my main ride for about six years.

Hi Jim

I have had my 53 plate Disco since March and love it. It's very well mannered on the road and I don't need to tell you how good it is off road. A set of All Terains is on the agenda but since my tyres are so new still I don't want to waste them so will get more use out of them first.

If you're seriously considering a Disco get yourself on Thed2boys club forum which is full of useful info and a great place to get all the information you need to get one.

The main reason I am posting is regards shooting out of the sunroof. If its the standard sunroof you won't be able to shoot out of it as they only open half way so not enough room to stand through. Just thought to let you know so you don't get a nasty surprise if that's a deal breaker for you.

Other than that they are great trucks.

More than happy to answer any other questions if you need.

Cos

Cheers Cos,

Much appreciated. I'll have a nose on the forum :good:
