wildfowler.250
So the 10 bore is currently gathering dust as I have run out of shells for it. I'm mainly looking to reload heavy 3 1/2" lead shells as I can buy Remington steel. I'm sure I've asked this before but what are the basics that I need,(an idiots guide of makes and links if possible would be ideal). I was just thinking that I'd RTO the shells. I was going to buy Lyman shot shell reloading to get me started? If anyone could formulate a list of the things I need to buy them that would be excellent! Then I'll just go and purchase all the bits and pieces.. Cheers! ps apologies of I have asked this before as I seem to be going round in circles with the whole thing! Amazed
If 21/4 oz 3 shot will be heavy enough gambore rino have just started coming into stock, About 14 pound for 10. I am looking into reloading eventually but equipment is expensive and rare even for secondhand. Where abouts are you btw? All the best Karl. Thanks Karl That gamebore rhino stuff sounds great,(just looked it up!). Do you know where I could pick it up in Scotland? The equipment is expensive. The only plus side is that the old man and the brother also shoot so we could use the gear between us. Guest cookoff013
the 10 gauge easily recoups its money. infact it recoups money faster than any other common gauge. the only exception would be 8 gauge. there are reloading information for most gauges. try googling some. you may be supprised. Thanks Cookoff. I think I can more than justify it as I shoot a fair few wildfowling shells in a season. The only trouble with googling loads ect is I have major trust issues with what I read on the Internet,(didn't someone on here once say they shot a hare a 704 yards with the HMR?). I do place a lot more faith in reviews of equipment though. Just not sure how much I trust a random's opinion via the net on how much powder I can cram into a cartridge.. Cheers!
