henry d
Took the 2 noobs and the old girl out for the first real days ferreting and decided to do a few hedges on the outskirts, that were well cleared out by us 2-3 yr ago. We must have done a good job as we ended up with 3 and a mixy in the middle of a field Even had to dig! but couldn`t get down to where the old jill was due to tree roots and rocks.I tried from 3 different angles and at 3 foot it all went solid. When I was digging my mate called over"Somethings coming out !".......a Toad of all things Finished early and went to tide flight the estuary but no luck Still it was great to get out in the sunshine and wind

Ferret Master
It's not unknown for little owls to be bolted that have gone underground looking for baby rabbits and worms to munch. FM

It was the warmest it has been here for days yesterday, 14oC it was last night on the thermometer by the ferret cub. :( Yet last week it was 3oC with a clear sky. My ferrets never struggled with the concept of collars as they have been wearing a lead and harness out on their walks. FM
