keeper1984
Hi guys Rough pheasant/partridge/pigeon day on monday 14th january. Mostly wild birds although we do release about 100 a year. Not guaranteed numbers of birds expecting 15-20 all being well. no cover crops planted. woodland and hedge rows only. If your expecting high birds in valleys this is not for you! Its a working farm with muck heaps, mud, straw stacks etc where you will be standing to shoot on certain drives. Expect to walk the odd drive. 5 guns no beaters but 3-4 dogs. If you come and shoot nothing that's life I'm afraid. Experienced shots preferred. Lots of walking £50 per gun.

keeper1984
After reading my post I realise it probably looks like I'm trying to pull a fast one... Trust me I'm not just want to be honest! 1st shoot on november 17th, (7 drives) - 25 pheasants,1 partridge,10 pigeons,2 foxes. Clicker count 115 shots 2nd shoot 29th december (4 hurried drives in terrible weather) 11 pheasants 2 partridge 1 pigeon 1 jay..... Over 40 pheasants seen sitting tight, flying very low,not shot at. One gun had 25 shots not connecting with any pheasants due to being wet through and cold!! Total clicker count 49 shots.
al4x
Realistically it's a cheap day out people would pay more for a day on pigeons or a walk one stand one. Obviously it's an unknown but the sort I'd take a punt on if you were closer, a couple of half decent guns with decent dogs makes the world of difference on this kind of day. Good luck I can't see why you shouldn't sell the places
ayano3
Seem's pretty good to me too. If it was closer I would willingly pay the fifty quid. I am sure everyone would be pretty down to earth people who enjoy their sport without worrying about numbers and would not look down their nose at you like some guns I have met whist picking up. I think it was well described it the initial advert. And a real bonus is you can actually sit in the barn for lunch. That comment sold it for me. Someone please take the offer and have what seems a good day outIin good company. If I'm wrong I will forever have egg on my face.
