LondonLuke
It's the option you choose when setting up your mail originally. May be worth deleting acct and then adding it again - though obviously at your own risk!
Olliesims
I have push on mine turned on and get my emails straight away also with a iPhone 5 on O2
craftycarper
My 4s has always sent and received on O2 fine but when I added my ntlworld address it only receives mail and won't send, I looked on forums for the answers, deleted and added again and again then gave up! Billy.
For starters, ditch Hotmail and go from there. If you're unsure about ditching it/the swap over process, just set hotmail and your new address to deliver to the same inbox on the iPhone, but set the SMTP settings to have outgoing mail from your new address. Once you stop getting personal mail to one, then set up an autoresponse for any stragglers who aren't aware of your new address and then you can delete the hotmail one. Go for a service which offers push mail and something with a bit of space too.
