Sjpiercy
Single head v4 Dryfire system for hire at great rates. Whether you want to try one for a day before you purchase your own or you want to use it for a club/group event or you may simply want the extra practice I am sure it can be accommodated. Day hire: 20.00 Week hire (5 day): 60.00 Week hire (7 day): 75.00 Comes with single gun assembly, tripod, foot switch, reports generator. So for what it would cost for a round of clays you could have this all day and get through hundreds of simulated targets. Not the real thing but extremely good for cheap practice in most disciplines. PM me if you need any further details.

Lock Stock & Barrel
Looks good. Can you put a contact website or YouTube link up so we can contact you openly?
Blunderbuss
Hi, thank you, are you confused for some reason?? I don't know, but I suspect he's hinting that a welcome post telling us a little about yourself before trying to sell us something might be good manners? Just a thought. Sjpiercy
Perhaps your right blunderbuss and my apologies! First thing to say to you all is I am not a business and my main aim is not to promote Dryfire but to mainly make some pennies from its downtime rather than have it sat in the room doing nothing. After shooting DTL around 6 years ago, meeting my now wife and having to hand in my SGC to enable me to move in with her (and the in-laws at the time) I have now taken an interest again! I purchased a Browning GP trap a few months ago and now shoot regularly at Manchester Clay Shooting Club, still can't hit a barn door but still early days. As you can probably tell, I have a dryfire v4 which gets a fair bit of use but bearing in mind I work all over the country the kit does end up sitting dormant for days on end. Any pennies that can be made by other people getting the use of it can go towards more carts, rounds, clays etc...
Blunderbuss
Nice one perhaps join in the banter, make a few posts on other subjects and establish a reputation on here and people will feel more comfortable doing business with you. Sadly a lot of chancers just treat the forum as free advertising and contribute nothing in return. Good luck, and welcome to Pigeon Watch. Sjpiercy
Thank you. There will certainly be more posts coming from me, used to hit 80's and 90's 6 years ago. Literally cannot hit a barn door at the moment!!!
JustJon
So, from those who have tried it, is a 'hit' on dryfire the same as a real clay? Does it know time lags and things or is this equipment a bit like an arcade game?
Sjpiercy
Definitely not an arcade game. You set the system with specific details about the chokes your using, cartridges your using and various other dimensions. The system then calculates everything else while your shooting such as trajectory. For example, it works out the exact energy behind the pellets so even if you hit the clay bang on, if it was too slow or the target too far then it Williston it as a miss - not broken which indicates that you hit it but had you hit it like that in real life then the chances are the clay would not have broken. You can also set up wind speeds/directions. The best feature that I use on this system is the reports generator as this will highlight to you exactly whe your weaknesses lie, be it left-right or right-left, rising, falling, first shot, second shots etc

altnipper
Hi, how do you know how far the target is away? does the laser change size? Edited January 13, 2013 by altnipper
southrop
Good question, the problem for me with dryfire is its two dimensional hence no perception of depth and distance. I suppose you might get used to it but the laser dot definately won't change size.
Sjpiercy
It's hard to agree or disagree with above really. The laser doesn't change size but the way it arcs depends on the angle your looking at it and it arcs n such a way it looks as if it is allying further from you. Quite hard to explain, I've used for a good few sessions now and no issue with depth assistance, this is of course re-enforced with the pc screen which indeed shows a 3d model showing your shot.
