Still a few tweaks needed so some constructive criticism would be good :) So would tips.

It was filmed to day. Wasn't a very good bag because of the snow but I enjoyed myself :)

Anyway enough jabble, enjoys B)

Nice video, really enjoyed that you have a new subscriber ! Really liked the commentary about the drives.

It looks like you filmed on wide angle ? If so try medium FOV I find it gives a better representation and you can see more of the bird. Not sure which program you used to edit / render but if you have an option to render in 16:9 ratio it will fill the youtube screen. I always struggle between enjoying my day ( by quickly looking for the next bird) and following the bird I have shot down with the camera.

Hope these comments help and don't in any way detract from a great video. BIG well done !

Thank you ever so much for the kind words ! I have always admired your videos and wanted to do something like yours myself. And I know what you mean about following the bird lol

I use Windows Movie Maker !

What do you use ?

Thanks for all the advice ! Will try it out next week.

Great vid. I'm still getting used to my gopro and find it a bit of a distraction between shooting and filming.

One thing I have noticed is how you can critic your shooting and analyse the birds missed. From watching yours and Duffryn's vids, it would seem you both shot maintained leads as opposed to pull though?

Look forward to the next one.

Why thanks ! I use vegas pro. Another guy on You tube called Nick "tweed and pheasants" uses Windows movie maker and I think from watching his videos you can set it to render 16:9. The angle between the back of the head mount and the camera becomes more critical when you use medium FOV so take some practice shots first. Look forward to the next installment !

Watching them back in HD, on a full screen and in slow mo really helps work out why your missing. In my case nearly always behind or stopping the swing too early. You would have thought by now I could have solved these problems ! Once you shoot with the camera on your head enough you forget its there. I don't know why I use maintained lead, it just feels right. I guess you have to use the method that seems right for you

If you want PM me.

And cheers adam. I saw on that 2nd duck I shot at I did hit it well but the follow up shot needed a fair bit mor lead !

You don't need the pro version. Movie Studio is the cut down version and will do everything you need. They take some getting used to though. I am sure the package you have already will do everything you need
