OldBill
Hi all. I picked up my 2nd hand 'schutz yesterday. It's a 525 model with a Parker Hale moderator, Harris bipod and a Tasco 416 (4-16 x 50) scope. I got it from a dealer, it appears to be in good nick, shoots straight but was shocking dirty in the breech. The dealer didn't have the manual so I would appreciate a copy of the manual that came with it and if anyone has the manual for the scope that would be good too! It doesn't appear that I can "field strip" it for cleaning either, which may explain why it was so dirty. Any tips on this would be greatly appreciated. Guest jonrms
can you not pull the bolt out? I wouldnt remove the stock from the barrel.... and if you do its normal ... remove the trigger guard etc.. and there are some fixings around the stock to detach it.. I will try to find a link... but it should be easy enough...

OldBill
Thanks so far guys. The 525 is a semi so the bolt doesn't pull out. The link looked familiar and it's one I'd already tried and bookmarked so I can send any destructions I get to him! A couple of forum members have a 525 so hopefully one has a manual. ps Just cleaned it as well as I can- there was 1/16" of caked cordite around the receiver and in the breech! :look:

OldBill
Okay, Anschutz have posted me a manual- thanks guys. Well, I say manual, it is in fact a pamphlet consisting of 5 pages with some very sparse detail in! However, I have scanned it and produced it as a PDF file. I can't upload it here it tells me the file is to big, so if anyone want's a copy PM me your email and I'll send it. It's a 1.5 Mb file though so be warned!
