smokinggun
I just use normal work ear defenders mate, ear defenders are ear defenders they'll do you just fine, same as I just use the builders safety specs as well when clay shooting, even the owner of the club said they are fine for the job. welshwarrior
I'd be carefull the 27dB reduction will ok with a shotgun but not an unmoderated Centre fire rifle.

aris
Don't mess with your hearing. One mistake and it can be damaged forever - with little hope of it coming back. Buy the best you can afford. Personally, I use these: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Peltor-Optime-Premium-Headband-Muffs/dp/B000NNEM76 I am considering getting some valved in-ear ones to wear _with_ these.
