Mrcbr
Hi Thinking about trying this clay ground just wondering if any PW members had tried it and their opinions on it cheers
figgy
Yes, I have shot there quite a few times over the last few years. Great bunch of lads, most are pigeon/game shooters, good ground to shoot over and fantastic value at £18.00 for 50 clays including fibre wad carts, unless its gone up this year. Just get there early as late comers are frowned upon. Figgy Edited February 4, 2013 by figgy

figgy
Yes mate it's all in the price, you can however use your own so long as fiber wads and keep the boxes you get. Give it a go you'll enjoy it, they go round the course in three squads so you get to meet people. Every first Sunday of the month they hold a members competition you can still shoot but not get prizes, then the targets remain for a month before changing. figgy
The ground is on the Waterboard land Dalton le Dale, going over the A19 from Dalton Park to Cold Hesledon pass the industrial units and after the left hand bend look for a small drive way entrance on the right, it's easy to miss it, drive up it passed the house and you will see parked cars walk up path in trees to top of bank. Or if in 4x4 drive to top on the track and park next to containers. If I could do pics screen shot from map would show it good. stuartyork
Thanks Figgy, The website was a bit of a labour of love. It took ages to get it half way decent, I've never done this before. Loads of hits on the site, people seem to be enjoying the content. I've not done much with the useful links page yet. I would also like to have a wanted/for sale, page. All suggestions regarding content gratefully received. Why not build one for your own club. We get a lot of guests coming to give clays a try. A good percentage continue, get their ticket and join us. It's very inexpensive for web hosting and securing your web address.
