ddanby111
Hi fellas, I recently took my stock to a plonker who had stripped off the original Finnish due to it having scratches in then badly applies a orange peal lacquer so I have nitro morced it and ordered the tru oil finishing kit with the stock sheen... The 3 bottles kit.... A friend of mine told me to dry it out, then fine wire wool, then grain seal then tru oil then sheen.... Another said to sand it with 800/1200.... What's your advice... It has a almost orange exhibition type grained wood and I would love to make it stand out and really show it off The second picture is it when it was origional Edited February 5, 2013 by ddanby111
