Underdog
Hi folks, had a quick look at a HW99 today! Seemed light and quite small (suits me), any one got one? I would like a 177 but first would like to hear from some owners! Underdog.

Handling a shorter stocked gun made me realise. So I exchanged it and got a BSA XL Tac in 22 and it shoots great. I do miss a good 177 though and the 99 has caught my eye! After hearing the 99 is a little shorter I am tempted! U.
Jega
Brilliant gun mate ,it was my lads first decent air rifle, he shot H.F.T. with it for a couple of years as well as many many bunnies and its never missed a beat.Probably one of the most under rated and often overlooked springers out there . When he was home from Uni over Christmas i said do you fancy a stroll round the local golf course(our permission shoot) yep he replied i'll get the 99 out of hibernation ,sure enough it performed superbly 1 magpie and 3 woodies all about 30 to 40 yds . A simple Hawke scope 3-9x50 is more then adequate for this little rig with air arms field 4.52 pellets.
