its just farmer wants any fox i see gone. only reason i was saying about baiting was to get it in range

The fox doesn't need to be causing a problem to shoot it if you have permision go for it

The only time I use bait is inn a live catch trap and I use mackerel other than that I just use the back of my hand to sqeak it im

yes another question but ive heard of people using dog food for attracting fox to shoot them. what do i do just put a pile of dog food out in the field and also use a caller and keep looking about for eyes?

thanks jim

Dog food usually works, I find the cheapest sloppy stuff useful, either in a bowl or spread around, so he has to stick around for a few moments to eat it, that way he can't just grab a mouthful of meaty food and run off.

Also find the dog biscuit meal works well, for the same reasons.

All the usual, rabbit, squirrel, pigeon, chicken etc etc etc are likely to work in time.

Everyone will have their favourites!
