remmy1100
bought some winchester rounds from a dealer when i bought new gun and in my views there not right cases are marked round necks and base and heads are not fully pressed home look to me like very poor quality or been realoaded . Underdog
How they shoot? It is a shame about the poor quality on the outside. Besides that they may well function just fine! U.
wymberley
I think you may just have a point looking at the sloppy fit in the polystyrene tray apart from anything else. Can you define 'new gun'? New as in unused or new to you? As I'm thinking ammo that came with a trade in. If the ammo was defined as new, I'd go back to the dealer and politely ask if he's possibly made a mistake giving him a chance to correct an error before you explain that HD photo's will be on their way to Browning Winchester registering your complaint. remmy1100
well i bought a brand new howa 223 and purchased 40 rounds of winchester at same time.i havent shot any yet .ive taken this up with dealer as i thought hed taken them in with a trade in but he has stated he doesnt take ammo. he says it is brand new ammo just in ive sent him pics and he is taken up with browning and going to get back to me as hes at shooting show.what is also evident is crimp marks on the top of cases which ive never saw before on factory ammo.i havent fired any as if they are realoaded they are of unknown spec. i bought some hornady ballistic tipped which produced a superb 20mm 3 shot group at 100yds. remmy1100
update from dealer is that he is getting all his soft point rounds replaced as he has checked other boxes and is concerned about case quality ect. still think mine are suspect took some photos with super macro on camera and really shows how poor these are
