HotShot!
Now then all. I have a browning gold 10 gauge. only really ever had one shot at a time with it. Went to shoot some clays to get used to it a bit more and it doesn't seem keen to cycle cartridges. It doesn't eject. So I can only fire one and then I have to pull the bolt manually. Does anyone have any advice or solutions ? Thanks
fenntay
What length of cases are you using gold can be a bit finicky I used to cut mine down to 86 mm and was ok after that
Underdog
Seal assembly in the wrong way!!? Has any lube oil got gummed up, I have seen autos in which the oil has absorbed gas residue that much it stops the gun cycling, especially in cold weather!!? U. Grandalf
Seal assembly in the wrong way!!? This happened to me on two occasions! U. Then clean the gas ports - Probably old oil got gummed up in there... Have you got the manual for your gun? You can get it online from Browning. anthonychez
im told the early brownig gold has trouble ejecting 3.5 inc carts. they have now altered the size of the gap where you cart is thrown out from 80 odd mil to 90 something. have you tried it with 3 inch carts? Its the 10 bore, the problem you mention pertains to the 12 bore auto and is common to the SX3 Winchester as its basically the same gun. HotShot!
Now I have realised I am goin to have to take it back. The bolt does not even come back. Definitely something to do with the gas !
