secretagentmole
Had a couple of hours roost shooting, Pulled off a couple of shots that amazed me. One was a pigeon, on a branch, nearly vertical, downed with a headshot, a second pigeon, not even two feet away, did not even move, second head shot! Two down in 10 seconds! Forgot camera so forgive lousy mobile shot!

secretagentmole
I cannot believe you can shoot pigeons so close to each other, I know this is only my second year roost shooting, but really, I at least expect the little **** to wake up! FalconFN
Why would they be asleep in the first place?
secretagentmole
20 minutes after sun down, I had not ventured into that part of the woodland so had not disturbed them previously, that is why they were asleep, I did say I was roost shooting! rainman_l
The HW100 is a great tool for the job. Mines a .22 with a shrouded barrel and silencer. Whisper quiet (but the rabbits still scarper!). Nice one agent mole.
secretagentmole
They scarper when they hear the pellet go whizzing past, if you ever hear a pellet go past, you will know how noisy the damned things are! chrisjpainter
Good job there. Pie? Casserole? or something more creative?? Also, how do you find the SR6 ret? i've been looking at them for a while now - I've begun to notice the white-out on my Mamba more and more as I shoot more in low sunlight now - but I'm not sure if it's a bit too cluttered for the field, if you know what I mean? secretagentmole
Chris I love the SR6 and 12 reticles, work well on my rifles! I gave up on MTC because of the whiteout problems that Mary had with her MTC, they were most unhelpful telling us that any scope would suffer a similar fate when the humble SR6 you see there was displaying a perfect image. We told them gonads and swapped it with someone who had a Nite Eye digital they did not like! They like the MTC, we like the Hawke! I shoot in low sunshine and in trees, found no problem with it. If it is too cluttered look at the MAP 6A reticle! We will be trying a spicy Cajun stew tonight! Evo, that blue band holds the Lipo (Lithium Polymer) battery that I use to power the Nite Site 50! It is made from a stitched compression bandage (from The Pound Shop) and does an excellent job of holding the power supply in place! You and I share exactly the same set up (HW100 rifle NE SR6 scope and NS50) - I just need to learn to shoot as good as you!
