You can't use the same product key on 2 computers... It needs to be unique on each one unless you have a corporate style multi licence thing going on.

 

Hmmm I have just purchased a new laptop and used a previous product key (that was used last year on another laptop) to install microsoft office again. It worked fine. :hmm:

I've used the same CD to install Office 2000 on about 6 computers as they come and go. Still working, even on Windoze 7 apart from Outleek which I don't use anyway.
