  1. Will pump club be above or below the ladies club??
  2. I would second the cast iron gang. I had a teracotta one, my mates filled it up with wood, it got too hot, it cracked and ended up (after a few months) in pieces. I then had a fire pit type one and the heat just disappears and people complain about too much smoke. The tall cast iron one's work like a dream...
  3. I don't think he's being partonising. It's no exaggeration that of the very few people i know who are out of work they freely admit that they have been offered night security jobs or training to use computers etc to make them more "employable" but they refuse to do it or walk out after 5 minutes because it's not what they want to do. That is the attitude that has to change, if everyone just did what they wanted we'd all be screwed, who would then pay all the tax so these people can take their hand outs?? I'm not saying everyone is like Frank Gallagher from Shameless but there are a lot of people who need a serious attitude adjustment. This includes some friends of mine who seem to be eternal students and moan constantly about "bankers bonuses" and "working for the man" who do they think provides the tax money that subsidises them being a student!
  4. Have to agree with this too, the only people i know who don't work are those that don't want to. That or people who will only work if it's their dream job otherwise they would rather take a hand out. I bet there are plenty of people wanting to work who can't but a large majority of people who i have met who claim that then admit they wouldn't consider cleaning or shop work as it's below them. I don't like my job but I do it because it pays the bills, not everyone has that attitude. However I can also imagine if you live in a very rural area there is probably a lack of available local jobs and that is a major problem. It's an age old thing moving to towns and cities for work, especially now agriculture is so mechanised, doesn't mean people have to like it but it's a sad fact of life.
  5. I have every right to do and say what I want, I am entitled to my opinion as are you. However you don't see me saying you shouldn't be pro what they do! I personally think that as they now have access to more humane ways of catching and killing these animals they should move with the times a bit. I see they all carry rifles, if you go back far enough i bet their ancestors didn't all have one of those. They move with the times when it suits them but not when it doesn't. I don't know about that specific area but a number of the animals they hunt are reducing in numbers - does that mean it's ok to continue to hunt rhino's/elephant's in Africa to extinction as it's something that people have done for generations?
  6. You can't use the same product key on 2 computers... It needs to be unique on each one unless you have a corporate style multi licence thing going on.
  7. If he's at level one prestige surely that means he's prestiged once?? Otherwise it would be level 39 prestige 0... Being prestige 7 is nothing to be proud of, i'm not far off that and think i've wasted far too much time playing that game!
  8. I watched about 5 minutes last night and it made me feel really uncomfortable. I understnad all of the arguments about way of life etc but seeing the big cat's caught in traps going mental wasn't nice. I hunt but am a big believer in clean kills and not making animals suffer, so traps, snares etc are out for me but that is my personal opinion. Certainly not something i will watch again.
  9. Blanket looks indian/asian... Maybe they all have the 'skin pigment' issues that Michael had!
  10. Ask him if he's been boosting or using lag switches, in which case nothing can be done as he's broken the rules! There was an update last night, maybe something went wrong with that? There is also a prestige setting that wipes everything (so if you're mental you can start from scratch) he's not inadvertantly selected that has he? Ask him which prestige option he selected.

If he has a mental health issue then it will probably result in him being in a secure hospital rather than prision then will be out in a couple of years once hiss mental health is stable..,
  12. Some of the comments on here are quite astounding, people being gay is wrong etc. What ever happened to freedom of choice?? What does it matter to you if a same sex couple want to commit? In my opinion marriage is a massively outdated social concept, i personally feel it has little or no relevance in the modern world BUT a lot of people see it as the ultimate commitment two people in love can make to each other. Why should everyone not have that opportunity? Basically all they have done is said that you can now call a civil partnership a marriage, hardly ground breaking. This isn't entirely relevant but some years ago at a 20/20 match at Essex cricket ground there were a very attractive female couple having a kiss in the stand. The mostly male crowd in the near vicinity went mad whooping and cheering. I bet the reaction would have been very different had it been two men!
  13. I think you can get free trials for both so you can have a month of each and see which you prefer? I understand that netflix is also good for TV box set type series also...
  14. I had an issue with a neighbouring house alarm a few years ago. The alarm was going off every day at about 7am for weeks. I tried to get a response at the house but the occupant was never in. I ended up phoning the council - apparently house alarms must have a nominated contact specified when fitted. This information (I believe) is stored by the police. Anyway turned out the house was empty but the owner resolved the issue pretty quickly.
  15. I worked as a member of the students union security team at university and did security escorts for: Fun lovin' criminals - spent their whole time when not on stage smoking weed and smashing shot glasses. Asked my sup about whether or not we should be letting them behave like that and was answered with a shrug! Guess you can't tell people like that! Jason Donovan - spent his whole time trying to convince us he should be allowed as many women as he wanted in his dressing room... Got the impression he was filth with a mega coke habit. DJ Luck/MC Neat - were the only people to thank me for escorting them. Goldie - Didn't say a word to anyone! I also worked on the stage building for a bit of the pop idol tour - main memory is how small simon cowell is (and how high his trouser waistline was!). Most of those probably don't count as meeting but it's the closest 'interraction' i've had with famous people. Oh and i went to school/college with one of the MC's who now tours with DJ Fresh.

I like watching it for the cars, the 'challenges' and in fact everything else on the program is now so scripted it can be awkward to watch at times. I try to ignore their wittering and focus on the vehicles. I'm assuming Mick Fleetwood was on to promote something, coupdn't work out what thoug! Clarkson's hero worship of any 'rock and rollers' is fairly nausiating...
  17. Is it just me wondering why a school needs a pirate ship?? Do you live in Somalia? Fair play and good on you for helping out though. We do a couple of days a year at a school doing a lot of the ground maintenance work as, apparently, the caretaker no longer does that kind of work! He just wanders about with a big bunch of keys looking at stuff... The school don't have finances to pay anyone else so it's down to volunteers to keep the outside space usable.
  18. Instead of just watching out of the window why didn't you go out and ask him what he was doing - or show an interest as a fellow shooter rather than diving in with questions? People get frustrated about stuff like this when the best thing to do is talk to the person concerned. Fair enough he might have gone before you got there but surely a better option than being an angry peeping Tom?
  19. How long have you had the policy? They changed the laws recently so insurers can no longer rate your policy using gender as a factor - put womens up and mens down - could be worth looking again as you might be better of cancelling and replacing (although it is hassle). I have always added my Dad as a named driver on my policies as even if he never drives my car the premium comes down by a reasonable amount.

At least a monkey delivering a package would be funny...

They are absolutely terrible, we had a couple of bits delivered by them before xmas. First one turned up and the box looked like it had been savaged by a bear, contents broken. Second one got left outside our house in the rain so was soaked through by the time we got home. Cancelled my order in the end, hopefully the companies that use them will get fed up of all the complaints and move to a different vendor. They must be really cheap if they can perform so badly and still be in business!
  22. Can't ask for much more than that! Top offer.
  23. Sounds like I have it relatively easy compared to some of you! I live in a mid terrace, one side is a single mum with 4 kids - fairly quiet most of the time, sometimes hear screaming matches going on through the wall but not very often. She's not a single mum through choice (husband died some years ago) so i'm more than happy to forgive the occasional indescressions that occur from their side. Other side is like a 3rd world zoo! Their back garden is almost entirely wooden shed type structures filled with various animals including a few ill cats that cry a fair amount - so would I if trapped in a shed! They also have a few stupid yappy westy type things that yap to go out then yap to come in. The thing that amazes me the most is that once or twice a year they get a skip put on their driveway and over fill it every time. I've lived their nearly 8 years now so something like 8-12 skips full of **** have come out of that house in the time! it doesn't make them bad neighbours but makes me wonder what their house looks like on the inside! I used to live with 3 mates (renting rooms off me) and as we all had a car they couldn't all be fitted on the drive way. One guy used to park his metro (big car that...) alongside the pavement between our houses. One morning on the way to work i was accosted by the fat tramp from next door and told that i should expect a letter from her solicitor demanding i pay for a new tyre for her car due to the damage it had sustained because she had to back onto the opposite pavement in order to get off her drive in the morning. To which i laughed and said good luck with that I'll look forward to reading it! Suffice to say nothing came from it, assume she was trying to vent her frustration at where the car was being parked. Personally think a better approach would have been to just mention it. I'm aware peoples parking can often be somewhat irksome to neighbours, threats rarely result in an easy resolution to a situation! She's now taken to just glaring at me, her husband however seems fine, have the occasionalt chat, don't know how he puts up with her!

They're both idiots but if i had been in that situation i would have been tempted to give this 'kid' a kick too! At 17 he isn't a child anoymore, you can garuntee he's out boozing and the rest like an adult. As the son of one of the chairman he is clearly from a privelidged background and was just doing it to get some camera time and show off to his mates. The tweet he sent before hand shows what a total moron he is. I agree with the general sentiment that people shouldn't go around kicking others but i garuntee that most people who have commented on this post either way will have thrown a fist or leg at someone in the past one way or another. If he had been a proper 'ball boy' ie a child i think it would have been a whole different kettle of fish but for someone who is months away from being a fully fledged legal adult he got what he deserved. Especially as because of all this the FA are considering getting rid of ball boys and replacing them with 'professional' adults. What a shame that this way for young kids to get an experience of a sport they love (fair enough some of you seem to hate football - your choice) could be taken away all because of the actions of some silly little rich boy. PS Apologies if there is dodgy spelling in this (i think there is) but i can't find the spell checker in the reply bit...
  25. How about some sticks? One for her for cattle 'herding' and one for him for shooting? Get one's with a bit of local horn/antler on the top??
