wattsowatts
Phone call this morning from one of my farmers, clearly having problems with birds hitting his OSR. Wanted me to get out as soon as possible, had to explain that I am frustrated by having to work, earliest I could get out is Sunday and again on Monday. Very understanding he has agreed not to put out any 'bangers' until Tuesday to give me chance to get into the birds. He reckoned there was over 500 birds yesterday evening and again this morning, it will be just my luck that they will all be gone by Sunday or one shot and they all ****** off! turbo33
I wouldn't lose sleep over the next couple of days, you will probably have been like everyone else, freezing all day after the one shot and no further action If mr farmer has left the bangers off, you stand a lot more chance in a couple of days of making a decent bag They are still very spooky round here.....another few weeks and hopefully they will play ball

PLH1966
Same here in Norfolk, my fields have bangers, flags, gas guns, you name it. Birds just not keen to come in, I'm getting them later in the day as they flight in to the surrounding trees with some success
