Yeah I've got one 57 plate, 90, county it's a really nice truck but not really for commuting as I'm selling mine to get a more road friendly car, clutches are frequently going on most people also egr exhaust gas recirculating valve got and chatter on shut of which effects mpg! My clutch has been done! :-)

My friend on LZ has one, loves it apart from the ECU cocking up……..limp mode randomly but LR cant find fault

Get your mate to change the fuel rail relief valve, easy 5 min job, when he takes it off the innards will most likely fall out of it so he'll need a magnet to retrieve the bits out of the rail end

When was the last time you saw a Transit broken down?

monday, failed water pump!

To be fair they are well engineered though, most motors are it's more likely to be an electrical item which causes problems these days with any vehicle, and most manufactures use the same suppliers of electrics!
