al4x Posted February 28, 2013 Report Share Posted February 28, 2013 from a car roof then the shortest you can get is best, I have the 6-9 and what you find is its far easier to hold on the roof while you go over bumps etc the taller ones try and fall over. Deiseboy Posted February 28, 2013 Report Share Posted February 28, 2013 9-13 for prone without a doubt. Especially in grass fields when the slightest bit of tall grass can make a 6-9 useless. For off the roof of a car it depends on how you will be shooting. which ever suits your height and the height of the car. everyone will be different on that. im 6'1 so a 9-13 suits me well and id be hunched over using a 6-9. T-Bolt94 Posted February 28, 2013 Author Report Share Posted February 28, 2013 Yes I was thinking the 9-13" but I am not the tallest lad in the world at 5'7.5 (the 0.5 counts) so that's why I was thinking that maybe a 9-13 might be a touch high from the roof top even though I only lamp from a car parked just inside the field any time I am shooting off the roof, the rest would be whilst walking, Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
