Whilst on my way to Bridlington and back via Selby yesterday, I could see there sure is plenty of oilseed this time and at various stages of growth - some small, some tall, some bloodywell flowering- did'nt see any pigeons feeding on any of the small stuff though, whats more- no sign of any bird scarers either ( gasguns etc ) all conspicous by there absence!!

I'm hoping for lots of hard frosty days next month so the pigeons will begin to move onto the oilseed and become addicted to it!!!!!

Cheers, C.B.:~}

While I was out yesterday on a recce on new land I noticed a lot of fields still with last seasons stubble still in the fields.

The OSR is now well established and there doesn't seem to be any baron patches in the fields were the drillings haven't taken

Some fields of OSR already knee deep. Not very encouraging for the winters shooting

John has let me know that the lists may still take another 10 days-ish.

Now more than 10 days! Any lists out ?

starting to think we are being taken for mugs gang IMO :blink:

Even though we have no lists yet ,this is still unbelieveable value for those shooters who do not have there own permission yet,and for those of us that do have our own piece of land it is an ideal back-up when we need to give our own place a break.
