Buster223
had a pair for about a week before the water started to come through. Got a pair of black islanders instead.
Scully
Had a pair(can't remember the 'model' name now) for about a year until both heels started letting in,took 'em back to John Norris' who sent 'em back.Replaced them with a pair of Pro Hunter GTX.They are comfortable and light, and so far haven't rained in,but have made a note of where I put the receipt this time! Twistedsanity
Mendil dovre extremes , made by hand by a reputable old company that specialises only in making boots , awesome kit, I went fishing and sat out in below zero temps for hours in them , totally waterproof and fit straight out of the box with no need to wear them in or suffer blisters, if you want the best boots best to go to a proper bootmakers
WGD
I have worn the Pro Hunter Harkila boots for two seasons and would buy another pair. There is not much to choose between them and the Meindl Dovres, the Harkila are lighter and being nubuck rather than leather the outer dries quicker. The Meindl are probably harder wearing, but do need looked after.
