Hawk Sindwinder - Comments

Thinking of getting a 30SF 6-24X56 SR PRO for lamping fox on 22/250.

Any comments on the sindwinder range of scopes would be appreciated.

I know they are cheap and I hope they are cheerful too.

Gun gets fairly well abused so I don't want to pay a lot.

I have 6.5-26x52 of the old model and 6-24x56 of the new model, both Mil Dot.

Cheap is a relative term and £339 list is not cheap in my book.

The new is better than the old and they are both heavy.

My old one I got brand new for just over £100 in a sale when they had just introduced the new model, and my latest (new model) I got in an Auction for about £140. I would never consider spending anything close to list on either but I have no complaints at the prices I paid.

I do quite like them but they are not worth anything close to list in my opinion!

They do the job, hold zero and I hit things using them, but don't expect crystal clear on full mag, although the new model scores higher on that than the old (but I knew this and didn't buy them to shoot on anything close to full mag, they are fine at 6-8-10-12x) !
